Treaties/Agreements

The Republic of Guinea-Bissau, through the National Commission for Refugees and Internally Displaced People of its Ministry of Interior and Public Order, agrees with the United States of KAILASA and the United Ancient Indigenous Enlightened Nations (UAN) to host the seat of KAILASA in Guinea-Bissau and to support KAILASA's work with refugees. The Agreement builds on the 2020 Agreement of Mutual Cooperation and Establishment of Diplomatic Relations and the 2025 Headquarters Agreement, and was signed in English and Portuguese: for Guinea-Bissau by H.E. Malam Ture, President of the National Commission, and for KAILASA and the UAN by their Ambassadors, H.E. Praba Ma Nithyananda and H.E. Lenka Vidovencova, in June 2026.

The Republic of Guinea-Bissau hosts the seat of the United Ancient Indigenous Enlightened Nations (UAN) in the City of Bissau. The Agreement places the Headquarters under the authority of the UAN, makes its premises, archives and correspondence inviolable, and extends to it the protections accorded to international organizations under the Vienna Conventions on Diplomatic Relations (1961) and Consular Relations (1963). Signed at Bissau on 11 December 2025, for Guinea-Bissau by H.E. João Bernardo Vieira, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Communities, and for the UAN by H.E. Sandhya Bail, High Representative, International Affairs.
